Solution :

  • Mass of body = 500g
  • Velocity of body = 10m/s

Change in Momentum (p) =2× Mass(m) × velocity(v)

changing 500g into kg

500g = 500/1000kg

500g = 5/10

500g = 0.5kg

Change in Momentum = 2× 0.5 × 10

Change in Momentum = 2 × 5kgm/s

Change in Momentum = 10kgm/s
