The forces between particles of solid are the strongest and in gases is the weakest.1)The particles of matter in liquid move freely that is why liquid generally flows easily. 2)ice absorbs latent heat as well as heat in the body whereas the water absorbs only heat in the body, that is why ice is cold. 3)The doctor advices to put wet cloth because it absorbs heat in our body and leaves a cooling effect, infact reducing the body temperature.
