It makes 20 revolutions per minute.

            in 1 minute it makes 20 rev.

            In 60 sec. it makes 20 rev.

            in 1 sec. it makes 1/3 rev.

Hence, angular velocity =  ω = 1/3 rev/s

linear speed = rω = (1m)(1/4) = (1/3) m/s

                     = 0.33 m/s

Centripetal acc. = v²/r

                           = (1/3)²/1

                           = 0.111 m/s²

Explanation:

In 1 min, it makes 20 rounds

So angular velocity = 20/60 round/min = ⅓

Linear speed = ⅓ x L = ⅓ x 1 = ⅓ m/s

Acceleration = (1/3)²/r = 1/9
