magnesium ribbon in this solution.
(1) List two observations related to the reaction caused by the dipping of magnesium ribbon in the solution of
copper sulphate. Also, state the reason for each of these observations.

By addingMagnesium to CuSO4​, it turns to MgSO4​.

Because Mg is above Cu in reactivity series. So Mg displaces Cu in CuSO4​. As reaction processes, CuSO4​ content decreases.

∴ Color blue fades.
