Answer:

Let the denominator be x

numerator be y

In case 1

numerator of a fraction is 1 less than the denominator

function = y-1/x

in case 2

function y+2/x+2

A/q

y-1/x=y+2/x+2

(x+2)(y-1)= x(y+2)

xy-x+2y= xy+2x

-x+2y=2x

2y=3x

y/x=3/2
