Let the first mixture be A and second mixture be B then :

A:

Honey = 25%

If we draw 2 gallons the amount of honey will be :

25/100 × 2 = 0.5 gallons

The amount of water is : 2 - 0.5 = 1.5gallons

B :

Honey = 75%

If we draw 3 gallons the amount of honey will be :

75/100 × 3 = 2.25 gallons

Amount of water = 3 - 2.25 = 0.75 gallons

Mixture of A and B

Water = 0.75 + 1.5 = 2.25

Honey = 2.25 + 0.5 = 2.75

The ratio of honey to water is :

2.75 : 2.25

275/225 = 11/9

11 : 9
