By using the principle of homogeneity,
We know Force= mass × acceleration
Units of force is {kg}{m}/{s}2
1 {kg}{m}/{s}2= 1 {g}{cm}/{s}2
1 kg = 1000 g , 1m = 100 cm
{s}2 gets cancelled out
Substituting values of kg and m
1 {1000g}{100cm}= 1{g}{cm}
{1000g}{100cm}/1{g}{cm}
Gram and centimeter get cancelled out
Remaining, 1000×100=10 to the power 5
C.g.s unit of force is dyne
So 1N = 10 to the power of 5
