Method 1:

As there is more than one sign here, we automatically select BODMAS rule to solve it So lets come to solution now,

BODMAS [Bracket, Of, division, multiplication, addition, subtraction]

= 2–2*3+3

= 2–6+3 ( multiplication -2*3 )

= 2–3 ( addition -6+3 )

= -1 ( substraction )

Ans. -1

Method 2 :

Have you heard of the mnemonic PEMDAS? It tells you the order of operations:

Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication and Division, and Addition and Subtraction.

= 2-2*3+3

= 2-(2*3)+3 (multiplication )

= 2–6+3(addition)

Ans = -1. (finally substraction)

You multiply and divide before you add or subtract. Just out of curiosity, some people will get -7 as answer how do you get -7? There would be a common mistake that is given down here.

Doubt may arrive like :

2 – 6+ 3 is not equal to 2– (6+ 3) it is equal to 2– (6 -3) because there is a minus sign in front of the brackets to the sign of the 3 must be changed when moving it inside the brackets.

If you don’t believe me, try solving 2+ 3 – 2x 3 or 3 + - 2 x 3+ 2 which are equivalents to the original equation.

Reason :

All numbers (except for zero) are either positive or negative. Negative numbers have a minus sign in front of them and positive numbers have a plus sign in front of them. But, because we are lazy, we normally don’t write the plus sign unless it is between two numbers.

Might my answer was much more for the givem question but with this basic idea you can solve any question within seconds without any doubt !!!!

Answer:

=> -1

Step-by-step explanation:

As per the given data, we have to find the value of the given equation.

Given that:

2-2\times 3+3

For solving we have to use the rule of BODMAS,

By using the parenthesis,

=> 2-(2\times 3)+3

Multiplying the terms in the bracket,

=> 2-6+3

By simplifying it further, we get

=> -4+3

=>-1

Hence, the required solution is -1.
