Here is ur answer

2 + 2 = 5 is true when dealing with log values, so a perfectly ordinary statement when dealing with decibels, for example.

2 + 2 = 5 dB as they are added logarithmically (base 10)

So a + b = c becomes

10 * log ( 10^(a/10) + 10^(b/10) ) = 1- * log ( 10^(2/10) + 10^(2/10) ) = 10 * log (1.584 + 1.584 ) = 10 * log (3.169) = 5.01

Any acoustician would do this in their head as adding any to equal values is the same as adding 3 dB.

90 + 90 = 93 dB
100 + 100 = 103 dB
and
2 + 2 = 5 dB

Hope it helps and mark it brainliest plzz
