Hey friend,
Here is your answer:
Water has a special property. Due to the anomalous expansion, only the upper surface to water gets frozen into ice. As density of ice is less than that of water, ice floats on water. The deeper layers of the pond help aquatic life to survive as the temperature remains a bit higher than the temperature of the upper layers.
Hope it helps u.

Hello Shahab,
This is your answer
Because when water freezes , it density become low than water as ice is a bad conductor of heat so the heat in the body of fishes and other aquatic animals and of water will not flow out of ice
hence , the animals are able to survive.
