Consider log(2) in its expansion from log(1+x)
Hence log2= 1 -(1/2) +(1/3) -(1/4) +....
now add and subtract all fractions with even denominators
={1+(1/2)+(1/3)+(1/4)+....} -2{(1/2)+(1/4)+(1/6)+....}
= {1+(1/2)+(1/3)+(1/4)+....}-{1+(1/2)+(1/3)+(1/4)+....}
=0
Therefore log2=0 and hence 2=1.
Similarly, 2=3
2 + 2 = 2 + 3 = 5
