No ! these are different values !

as you know the symbol used in this is the symbol of square root . Means , it has been rooted and left because it can't be further solved.

Now, coming Back to question ,

as we do with variable, to write 2×y , we write 2y .

so, we do same with these unchangeable quantities.

so, 2√2 = 2 × √2 .

so, 2√2 = 2 × √2 .

so, 2√2 is double of √2

so, now, let's check out there square :

(2√2)² = (2×√2)²

or, (2√2)² = 4×2

or, (2√2)² = 8

(√2)² = 2

Hence, The values are different from each other.
