Answer: The value is \frac{-5}{6}

Explanation- Given - The expression is \frac{2}{3}\times \frac{1}{4} -\frac{1}{2}\div  \frac{1}{2}

Find simplify the given expression.

Solution-Mathematics. Simplification is the process of replacing a mathematical expression by an equivalent one, that is simpler (usually shorter), for example. Simplification of algebraic expressions, in computer algebra.

According to the BOD MAS rule, if an expression contains brackets ((), {}, []) we have first to solve or simplify the bracket followed by 'order' (that means powers and roots, etc.), then division, multiplication, addition and subtraction from left to right.

So, the given equation is-

\frac{2}{3}\times \frac{1}{4}-\frac{1}{2}\div \frac{1}{2}

Apply Bod mas Rule

\Rightarrow \frac{2}{3}\times \frac{1}{4}-\frac{1}{2}\times \frac{2}{1}

\Rightarrow \frac{2}{3} \times \frac{1}{4}

\Rightarrow \frac{1}{3}\times \frac{1}{2}-1

\Rightarrow \frac{1}{6}-1

=\frac{-5}{6}

The value is \frac{-5}{6}.
