 \frac{2}{ \sqrt{3} - 1 }  \times  \frac{ \sqrt{3} + 1 }{ \sqrt{3} + 1 }  =  \frac{2( \sqrt{3} + 1) }{3 - 1}

 =  \frac{2( \sqrt{3}  + 1)}{2}

 =  \sqrt{3}  + 1
