Answer:-

B = 15m

Given :-

Area of rectangle = 45m²

Length = 3m

To find :-

The breadth of rectangle.

Solution:-

Rectangle:- A quadrilateral whose opposite side are equal and each angle is 90°.

Properties of rectangle:-

  • Each angle is 90°.

  • Opposite sides are equal.

  • There are two diagonals in rectangle.

As we know the area of rectangle is given by :-

\huge \boxed{A = L\times B}

Now,

Put the given value ,

45 = 3 \times B

 B = \dfrac{45}{3}

 B = 15 m

hence,

The breadth of rectangle is 15m.

Given :-

Area of rectangle = 45m²

Length = 3m

To find :- The breadth of rectangle.

Solution:-

As we know that the area of a rectangle

= l × b

Therefore ,

l × b = 45m²

3m × b = 45m²

b = 45/3

b = 15m

 \Large{ \boxed{\red{ \bold{\underline{Verification}}}}}

To verify it put the value of breadth

and if LHS = RHS then the answer is right

Therefore,

l × b = 45m²

3m × 15m = 45m²

= 45m² = 45m²

hence, LHS = RHS

therefore, the answer is

 \large\bold{ \boxed{ \bold{15m}}}
