Rational numbers = The numbers which can be expressed in the form of p/q.
=> ( √2 + 3 ) - ( √2 - √4 )
=> √2 + 3 - √2 + √4
=> 3 + √4
=> 3 ± 2
=> 5 or 1
5 and 1 are rational numbers. Hence, ( √2 + 3 ) - ( √2 - 4 ) is rational.
