MR PINTO'S FARM
Flurry was a little lamb. He was very weak and small because he ate little. He lived with his
huge family in Mr Pinto's farm.
One day, Mr Pinto came to meet the flock of sheep of sheep with tears in his eyes. He said,
'Sorry friends, but you will understand that I am too old. I cannot look after such a huge
farm. I am going away to spend my life with my grandchildren. I'll miss you all.'
Then Mr Pinto picked up Flurry and hugged him. He carried him to Mr Paul, the new owner
and said, 'This is the little lamb I was talking about. He is Flurry. He doesn't eat much
Please take special care of him.' Then Mr Pinto whispered something in Flurry's ear. Tears
welled up in the little one's eyes and he hugged Mr Pinto with all his might.
Mr Pinto left. The next morning Mr Paul came to say good morning to every one along with
his wife. Mrs Paul starting chatting with all. Then she looked around as if looking for
someone. Flurry caught her eye and she patted him, 'Don't worry little one. If you will eat
properly and become strong, I promise you, I'll convince Mr Pinto to return to the farm and
stay with us.' All the lambs excitedly leapt in the air and Flurry started eating everything
with interest. He realised that everything tasted so good. Then one morning Mr Pinto
greeted everybody and Flurry rose to greet him ... He looked so big and strong.
