Given :- 2/3,-8/9 find a quadratic polynomial each with the given numbers as the sum and product of its zeroes respectively ?

Answer :-

given that,

  • sum of zeroes = (2/3)
  • product of zeroes = (-8/9)

so,

→ x² - (sum of zeroes)x + product of zeroes = 0

→ x² - (2/3)x + (-8/9) = 0

→ x² - (2x/3) - (8/9) = 0

→ (9x² - 6x - 8) /9 = 0

9x² - 6x - 8 = 0 (Ans.)
