as a proverbs is an apple a day keeps the doctor away.

it means that an apple contain vitamins and lack of vitamins and minerals causes diseases and then we go to the doctor for medicine then the same thing they do. they give a vitamin medicine and say it will cure take it for 4 to 5 days. but if we eat apple then it will keep our body and mind healthy.

it means that how you do for you and others, same you got from your work that may be good or bad.....

let take a example : if a student reading hard whole a year, then he or she will get good marks. but if a student read before the exam, then he or she will not get good marks. and if he or she will get , then also what they have read must be memories for only few days.
