Now, 

$\frac{2}{3} \ of \ x = \frac{2x}{3} \\\\ 5 \ les \ than \ half \ of \ x = \frac{x}{2} - 5$

According to the condition of the question

$\frac{2x}{3} = \frac{x}{2} - 5 \\\\ 4x =3x - 30 \\\\4x - 3x = 30 \\\\ x - 30$
