Let the number be x.

2/3 or that number is 2/3 × x => 2x / 3

3/5 of the number is 3/5 × x => 3x / 5

According to the question,

=> 2x/3 = 3x/5 + 10

=> 2x/3 - 3x/5 = 10

=> 10x - 9x / 15 = 10

=> x / 15 = 10

=> x = 150

Therefore, The number is 150.

Answer: let the number be x

ATQ

2/3 * x = 3/5 * x + 10

2/3 * x = (3x+50)/5

2x/3 = (3x + 50)/ 5

now, cross-multiply

10x = 9x + 150

10x - 9x = 150

x = 150

Hence the number is 150.
