Answer:

identity used:

(a+b)(a-b)= (a^2-b^2)

so

(2/3a+1/3b)(2/3a-1/3b)

= (4/9a^2-1/9b^2)

hope it works ❤️❤️

Answer:

(a + b)(a - b) = a {}^{2}  - b {}^{2}  \\ ( \frac{2}{3} a +  \frac{1}{3} b)( \frac{2}{3} a -  \frac{1}{3}b) \\ ( \frac{2}{3} a) {}^{2}  - ( \frac{1}{3} b) {}^{2}  \\  \frac{4}{9} a {}^{2}  -  \frac{1}{9} b {}^{2}

hope it helps you
