If the image's answer is wrong then I solve it
2/3x -1 = 1/12
=> (2-3x)/3x = 1/12
=> 3x = 24-36x
=> 3x+36x = 24
=> 39x = 24
=> x = 24/39
=> x = 8/13

Hope it will correct .

Dhinu: the question is absolutely correct and the answer is 8/13 . if there's no bracket then its obvious that its 2/3x not 2/(3x-1)
Explode: Right
Dhinu: ya!
Pasha007: then in this case the answer on which we are commenting will be wrong. As he has considered 2/(3x-1) not (2/3)x
Dhinu: yes , the ans. in the pic is wrong but the other one is right ... and btw, its not the both u have written , it's simply 2/3x .
Pasha007: It should be (2/3)x but i agree with u Dhinu in the way it is written in the question it is (2/3x)
Dhinu: yes .. because there's no bracket given in the question
Dhinu: then they all are one unit ...
