2√3x²-5x-√3 find the zero of it

\huge\underline\mathcal\red{Find\:out}

find the zero of it

\huge\underline\mathcal\red{Solution}

Solve by splitting middle term

=> 2√3x² - 5x - √3 = 0

=> 2√3x² - 6x + x - √3 = 0

=> 2√3x (x - √3) + 1 (x - √3) = 0

=> (x - √3) (2√3x + 1) = 0

Either

=> x - √3 = 0

=> x = √3

or

=> 2√3x + 1 = 0

=> 2√3x = -1

=> x = -1/2√3

√3 and -1/2√3 are the zeros
