GIVEN :-

2(3y-2)-4(2y-5) = 9 equation.1

TO FIND :-

y = ?

SOLUTION :-

2(3y-2)-4(2y-5) = 9

6y-4-8y+20 = 9

6y-8y-4+20 = 9

-2y+16 = 9

-2y = 9-16

-2y = -7

2y = 7

y = 7/2

Checking :-

"y" value substitue in equation.1

then we get

2(3(7/2)-2)-4(2(7/2)-5) = 9

2(21/2 - 2)-4(7-5) = 9

2(21-4/2)-4(2) = 9

(21-4)-8 = 9

17-8 = 9

9 = 9

THETEFORE "LHS = RHS

FORMULAS OR RULES:-

When we find "y" value we should know that is correct answer or not.

By substituting the value in equation we know that is wrong or right.
