number is said to be zero polynomial if after putting the value in the equation ,the value of equation gets zero

So

f(x)= 2-5x

putting value of x as 2/5

So

f(x). 2 - 5 \times 2 \div 5 \\  \\  = 2 - 2 = 0

f(x) = 2 - 5x \\ f( \frac{2}{5} ) = 2 - 5 \times  \frac{2}{5}  \\ f (\frac{2}{5}) = 2 - 2 = 0

HENCE RHS =0

so \:  \frac{2}{5} is \: a \: zero \: of \: f(x) = 2 - 5x
