Hey mate,, here is your ans..

Let the length of pole is x m

2x /5 is in water

Remaining = 1 - 2x /5 = 3x / 5

Now half of 3x / 5 is in the mud

3x / 5 - x/2

6x / 10 - 5x / 10 = x / 10

Now understand

x / 10 = 3

x = 30 m

Ans: the length of pole is 30m


Recheck it

2 * 30 / 5 = 12

Remaining = 18

18 - 30 / 2 = 18 - 15 = 3

answer is correct that is 30m
