2 + 7 = (2 x 10) + (2 x 7) = 34
8 + 9 = (9 x 10) - (9 x 8) = 18
6 + 3 = (6 x 10) + (6 x 3) = 78
so,   5 +7 = ( 7 x 10) - (7 x 5) = 35

Answer:

The value of 5 + 7 = 35

To find:

5 + 7 = ?

Solution:

Given that

2 + 7 = 34

8 + 9 = 18

6 + 3 = 78

5 + 7 = ?

First series

Here we need to multiply the number 10 with 2 and again we have to multiply the second number 7 with first number 2 then add the both values.

We will get

2 + 7 = 2 \times 10 + 7 \times 2 = 20 + 14 = 34

Similarly second series

Here we need to multiply the number 10 with second number 9 and again we have to multiply the second number 9 with first number 8 then subtract the both values.

8 + 9 = 9 \times 10 - 9 \times 8 = 90 - 72 = 18

Third series

6 + 3 = 6 \times 10 + 3 \times 6 = 60 + 18 = 78

Fourth series

5 + 7 = 7 \times 10 - 7 \times 5 = 70 - 35 = 35

Thus, the sequence will be

\begin{array} { l } { 2 + 7 = 34 } \\\\ { 8 + 9 = 18 } \\\\ { 6 + 3 = 78 } \\\\ { 5 + 7 = 35 } \end{array}
