Answer:

If we do with B.OD.M.A.S rule answer is : 3

if we normally do with order wise of given question answer is : \frac{10}{8}  (or)  \\ 1.25

Plz chect the answer from your textbooks and refer what method do u want

Step-by-step explanation:

B.O.D.M.A.S  rule : -

=  2 * 7 ÷ 4 - 1 ÷ 2

=  2 * \frac{7}{4} - \frac{1}{2}

=  \frac{14}{4}  - \frac{1}{2}

=  \frac{7}{2}  - \frac{1}{2}         (By following LCM method)

=  \frac{6}{2}

=  3

Normal Order :-

=  2 * 7 ÷ 4 - 1 ÷ 2

=  14 ÷ 4 - 1 ÷ 2

= \frac{14}{4} - 1 ÷ 2

= \frac{10}{4} ÷ \\2         (as we know reciprocal of division is multiplication)

= \frac{10}{4} x \frac{1}{2}

= \frac{10}{8}        (we can have this fraction like this or else if we want to simplify)

= \\ 1.25\\
