Solve 2 + 7 tan^2 @ = 3.25 sec^2 @
We know tan^2 @ = sec^2 @ - 1
And 3.25 = 13/4
Plug
2 + 7 x^2 - 7 = 13/4 * x^2 [here sec @ = x]
Or x^2 = 20/15
So x = √(4/3) = 2/√3
==> sec @ = 2/√3
OR cos @ = √3/2 = cos 30
Thus @ = 30 degree = π/6 radian
