Hey mate here is your answer......

is used for determining the atomic no of any element. E.g. Helium has atomic no 2 , if we add 8 we get 10 i.e. atomic no of Neon again if we add 8 to Ne we get 18 i.e atomic no of argon again if we add 18 to At we get 36 i.e. atomic no of krypton. If we add 18 to Kr we get 54 i.e. atomic no of xenon. And if we add 32 to Xe we get atomic no of Radon.

So , this is 2–8–8–18–18–32 Rule which helps in determining the atomic no of elements.
