Mass % of calcium is

2 CaO →∆ 2 Ca + O2Amount of CaO = 2.8 gAmount of oxygen

= 0.8 g

Amount of Calcium = 2g−% of Calcium

= amount of Caamount of CaO × 100 = 2.02.8 × 100 = 71.4 %
