let the ? be x
This is in the form of proportion.
product of extremes = product of means
extremes = 2, x
means = 9, 64
2*x = 9 * 64
x = 9*64/2
x = 288
answer is 288.
576 is wrong answer.

This is clearly not a typical ratio question.

There should be options given :

A) 125 B) 275 C) 4225 D) 576

Here's how you solve it:

2: (2+1)² = 3² =9

Similarly, 64: (64+1)²=65²=4225

In other words, add 1 to the first number and square it.

Hope this helps! :D
