so we have children =y+95

2/9 of x= y

2x/9=y ...... (1)

Now we know that total number of people - adults will give us the number of children.

x - 2x/9 = y+95

9x- 2x = 2x + 95

5x/9 = 95

x= 95×9/5 =19×9 = 171.

therefore y= 2x/9 = 2×171/9 =38

so number of children's = y+95= 38+95 =133
