Given :  A bag  contains x red balls, (x+5) blue balls and (3x + 10) white balls.  probability of drawing a white ball is 11/18

To Find : number of blue balls

(A) 15

(B) 20

(C) 35

(D) 55​

Solution:

Red Balls  = x

Blue Balls = x + 5

white balls = 3x + 10

Total Balls =  x + x + 5 + 3x + 10  = 5x + 15  = 5(x + 3)

Probability of white Balls  

11/18=   (3x + 10)/5(x + 3)

=> 55x +165 = 54x + 180

=> x = 15

Blue Balls = x + 5 = 15 + 5 = 20

option B is correct
