2. A block and tackle with a VR of 5 is used to raise a mass of 20 kg through a vertical distance of 50 cm at a steady rate. If the effort used is equal to 50 N, determine (a) the distance moved by the effort, (b) the work done by the effort in lifting the load. (e) the loss in energy involved in operating the machine.
pls guys if u know it then only answer do not spam and pls give me a step wise answer and thanks for the time in reading the message and do help me

Explanation:

H = 50cm

M = 20kg

F = 50N

Velocity ratio = 5

A) 5×50 = 250cm = 2.5m

B) W. = S

2.5×50N = 125J

C) w=mgh

= 20×9.8×0.5

= 9.8J

loss in energy = 125-9.8 = 115.2 J
