Let the final velocity be x
a=v-u/t
1=x-3/4
4=x-3
7=x
Ans is 7

Answer:5m/s

Explanation:break the forces along horizontal and vertical direction as acceleration is normal the horizontal velocity remains unchanged

So Vx=3m/s after 4 seconds

Initial velocity is 0 and final velocity in vertical motion is

Vy=Uy+at

=0+1*4=4m/s

So after 4 sec,

V=(4^2+3^2)^1/2

=5m/s ans.
