1st velocity=10m/s

time=10s

2nd velocity=20m/s

time=40s

Average velocity=Total distance/total time

(10×10+20×40)/40+10

100+800/50

900/50

18m/s

Thus,the average velocity is 18m/s

Answer:

u=10

v=20

t1=10

t2=40

avg v= total displacment/total time

= displacment 1 = 10x10=100 m

dispacment 2 = 20x40=800 m

avgspeed= 900/50= 18m/s
