From the formula, v= u+at

Here, v is final velocity, u is initial velocity, a is acceleration and t is the time

i) v = u + at

72 = 54 + a*10

18 = 10a

a = 1.8 m/s

ii) For distance, use the formula, s = ut + (1/2)*a* t^2

s is distance, u is initial velocity, a is acceleration and t is the time

s = 54*10 + (0.5)*(1.8)*10*10

s = 540 + 90

distance (s) = 630 m
