Given V = 21 + 1 volts

V = 1

l = 3.5 + 0.5 A and l = 0.5A

=) Resistance R = V/l

= 21 + 1 / 3.5 + 0.5 = 6 + R

R / R = error in measurement =

V / V +| / |

= 1/21 + 0.5/ 3.5

= 0.048 + 0.143

= 0.191 = 0.19

=} R = 0.19 × R

= 0.19 × 6

=) 1.14

: Effective resistance R = 6+ 1.14
