x=4

y=8

z=36 (36 oranges per rupee ,and he sold 36 oranges therefore initital SP of 36 oranges =36)

New SP={(100+y)*z}/(100-x)

New SP=Rs.40.5

or

CP of 36 oanges =(100/100–x)*z

New SP of 36 oranges ={(100+y)/100}*CP
