Answer:

Velocity = 120km/hr = 120*5/18 = 600/18 = 100/3 m/sec

Time = 30 sec

Distance = V x T

              = 100/3 x 30

              =1000m

              =1km

So,distance covered in 30sec = 1 km

s=600/18m/s

t=30m/s

s=distance/time

600/18m/s=d/30m/s

d=600/18m/s×1/30

d=20/18

d=1.11m
