2) A uniform plank of a see sew is 6m long and it is pivoted at the center. kavita sits at a distance of 1.8m from the fulcrum and mohini balanced the see sew when she sits on other of plank at a distance of 2.2m from the fulcrum. If mohini weidhs 36 kgf, then find the weight of kavita?( numerical ) ​

Given,

Total Length of Seesaw = 6 m

Distance of Kavita from Fulcrum = 1.8 m

Distance of Mohini from Fulcrum = 2.2 m

Weight of Mohini = 36 kgf

Let Kavita's weight be x kgf,

The Seesaw is in a Balanced Position, so using the law of Principle of Moments,

Anticlockwise Moments = Clockwise Moments

= (x*1.8) = (36*2.2)

= 1.8x = 79.2

= x = 44 kgf

Kavita's weight is 44 kgf.
