Explanation:

Distance isn't dependent on direction so just add the numbers for distance

distance = 60m + 80 m = 100m

you'll probably need to make a diagram which I can't right now

But the Displacement S =

 \sqrt{ {60}^{2}  +  {80}^{2} }  =  \sqrt{ {100}^{2} }   = 100
