Article 2 states that the parliament may, by law, admit new states into Union of India or establish new states on terms and conditions it deems fit. For eg. the addition of the State of Sikkim by the 35th (1974) and 36th (1975) constitutional amendments

There are more than 450 articles in the Indian Constitution.For example there are articles 12 to 35 for specify the Fundamental rights.

Article 1 : India, that is Bharat, shall bs the union of States.

Article 2 : Admission or establishment of new States: Parliament may by law admit into the Union, or establish, new States on such terms and conditions, as it thinks fit.
