Hi ,

2(a² + b² ) = ( a + b )²

2a² + 2b² = a² + 2ab + b²

2a² + 2b² - a² - 2ab - b² = 0

a² - 2ab + b² = 0

( a - b )² = 0

do the square root

bothsides of the equation

therefore ,

√ ( a - b )² = √ 0

a - b = 0

a = b

I hope this helps you.

:)

yjjjeeaxbn: what happen to the square in a_b whole square =0
mysticd: ( a - b )² = 0
mysticd: ( a - b )( a - b ) = 0
mysticd: a - b = 0 or a - b = 0
mysticd: a = b or a = b

Hi friend!!

2(a²+b²) = (a+b)²

2a²+2b² = a²+b²+2ab

2a²+2b²-a²-b² = 2ab

a²+b² = 2ab

a²+b²-2ab = 0

(a-b)² = 0

a-b = 0

a = b

Hence proved!!
