2. (B) Solve the following questions : (Any three)
(i) Solve the following problem :
Equal heat is given to two objects A and B of mass 1 g. Temperature of
A increases by 3 °C and B by 5 °C. Which object has more specific heat?
And by what factor?
(ii) Write chemical equation for the following event :
A reaction was brought about between ferric oxide and aluminium.
(iii) Define total internal reflection of light. Name the devices in which total
internal reflection of light is used.
(iv) What is meant by an artificial satellite? Write the importance of artificial
satellite in your words.
(v) Explain the following:
How can you relate the formation of water droplets on the outer surface
of a bottle taken out of a refrigerator with formation of dew?

Answers
Answer:
i)Consider body A recieves a heat of Q
Consider body B recieves a heat of q
Now Q= mc( change in temp.)
q= mC( change in temp.)
Now Q=q ( given)
So , mc( t )= mC ( T )
[Given masses are 1 gm each and t=3 while T=5]
c × 3= C × 5
So, therefore C:c= 3:5
And from the ratio , we get that A has a higher specific heat capacity
ii)2Al + Fe2O3 --------Al2O3 + 2Fe
iii)When the Rays of light bounce of the surface at angle greater than the critical angle and thus stay in the same medium is know as total internal reflection of light. Devices: camera , binoculars , etc.
iv)Artificial satellites are human-built objects orbiting the Earth and other planets in the Solar System. This is different from the natural satellites, or moons, that orbit planets, dwarf planets and even asteroids. Artificial satellites are used to study the Earth, other planets, to help us communicate, and even to observe the distant Universe. Satellites can even have people in them, like the International Space Station and the Space Shuttle.
v)Since water inside the bottle taken out from the refrigerator have lower temperature then the outside air in the atmosphere, due to this temperature difference air (with moisture in it ) get condense as it losses heat and thus water vapor present in the air form water droplets on the outer surface of the bottle
I DON'T KNOW it was on google
