The value of Kp = \frac{36P}{7}

Explanation:

                            X(g) ⇄ Y(g) + Z(g)

Initial                     p          0        0

At equilibrium    p - a       a        a

Given that  Partial pressure of

                        X = \frac{P}{7}

      ⇒          p - a = \frac{P}{7}

      ⇒               a = \frac{6P}{7}

      Partial pressure of Y = \frac{6P}{7}  and for Z = \frac{6P}{7}

     Partial pressure of X =  \frac{P}{7}

                    ⇒    Kp = \frac{P_{Y}XP_{Z}  }{P_{X} }

                   ⇒   Kp = \frac{\frac{6P}{7} X\frac{6P}{7} }{\frac{P}{7} }

                   ⇒    Kp = \frac{36P}{7}
