Let two consecutive numbers be x, x+1
their sum is x+x+1= multiple of 7
x+x+1=7;
2x+1=7
2x=6
x=3.
therefore the two numbers are 3 & 4.

athulmjnair: what i ment is 2 concecutive 2 digits say 53 & 54 whoes sum of their digits ie; 5+3=8 & 5+4=9 are multiples of 7.

let the two consecutive no.s=x,x+1
given that, x+x+1 =7 or multiples(if it divides with 7 it also divides with 7 mutiples)
2x+1=7
2x=7-1
2x=6
x=6/2=3
x=3
x+1=3+1=4
plz mark as best
