Perimeter of square=4S=4*13=52cm
perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)=52m
                                    =l+b=52/2=26m
                                    =l+16m=26m
                                   =l=26-16=10m
Therfor lenght of rectangle=10m

sreya1729: Perimeter of square=4a=4*13=52cm
sreya1729: perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)=52m
sreya1729: =l+b=52/2=26m
sreya1729: =l+16m=26cm
sreya1729: l=26-16=20 cm
GowriShankar: its is not 20m it is 10 m

Given,

The perimeter of a rectangle = perimeter of the square

Side of the square = 13 m

Length of the rectangle = 16 m

To find,

The breadth of the rectangle.

Solution,

The breadth of the rectangle will be 10 m.

According to the question,

The perimeter of a rectangle = perimeter of the square

Side of the square = 13 m

Length of the rectangle = 16 m

The perimeter of the square (P1) = (4×side)

P1 = (4×13) m

P1 = 52 m

P1 = Perimeter of the rectangle

So,

The perimeter of the rectangle (P2) = 2(length + breadth)

2(16+b) = 52 m

(16+b) = 52/2

(16+b) = 26 m

b = (26-16) m

b = 10 m

Hence, the breadth of the rectangle is 10 m.
